I was to happy to meet the beautiful Amritpal after hearing about her creative abilities far and wide. Amritpal makes individualized henna tattoos at a very reasonable rate. When she is in action making your design you can see divine inspiration channeling through her.
Amritpal is both approachable and professional. When she is finished with your design she sprays the henna with a solution to make it last longer. When the henna is finished drying, she carefully wraps it with a thin paper towel to protect it from being touched. She even offered a free touch-up if needed. Talk about customer service!
My beautiful design lasted whole a week. I was actually asked several times if I was getting married! It is common for women in India to get henna tattoos, or "mehndi", before their wedding. The grooms initials are often incorporated into the henna design. On the wedding night the groom must search for his initials in the henna pattern, which is apparently a great icebreakers for young newly weds who are often in arranged marriages.

Amritpal made such beautiful henna tattoos for us. I learned that's easy to do yourself. You can just order the henna premade online and apply it yourself in whatever patterns inspire you. You can find preexisting Indian patterns or you can create your own. It is a wonderful way to adorn yourself and express your inner goddess.
ReplyDeleteIts optional, you don't have to bother with it if you don't want to, peer pressure is why many bother. In history henna is done for fun just like in USA! It is only recent India that its become like a peer pressure, but Amritdaries do not waste on stress of rituals at all! Nature makes us complete , if we have the Divine we need nothing more! Resit the peer-pressure, freedom!
